Gasthaus "Zum Wilden Mann"

Since 1883, original, down-to-earth Austrian cuisine has been served in this venerable building, the so-called Niederleghof in Salzburg. It was and is a restaurant for everyone! And so the custom of "where you sit" and the "tie wearer" enjoying beer and roast pork next to the "Blaumax" remains. The name is derived from the fountain figure of the "Wild Man" who originally stood opposite the entrance to the Niederleghof - today he can be admired on the edge of the Furtwängler Park opposite the Festspielhaus, but his face can also be seen above the entrance to the restaurant.
