49th Cathedral consecration celebration Ruperti
Traditionally, the days around September 24, the name day of our patron saint of Salzburg, Rupert, have been celebrated with a large cathedral consecration festival. The Alte Markt, the Residenzplatz, the Mozartplatz, the Domplatz and the Kapitelplatz from the 23th to the 27th of September are completely under the sign of the Salzburger Rupertikirtag.
