In the world of classical music theater, Floriana Cangiano, who comes from Naples, has acquired what she needed for her career as singer-songwriter and spirited entertainer as singer-songwriter, actress and author. Her music combines the traditional Neapolitan singing of Rosa Balistreri, jazz of Billie Holiday and folk of Cesaria Evora and Amalia Rodriguez. Her debut album “D’Amore e di altre cose irreversibili” under the pseudonym FLO in 2014 immediately earned her comparisons with the French singer Zaz and the Andrea Parodi Prize. With subsequent albums, she has established herself as one of Italy’s outstanding voices at the interface between pop and world music.
