As passionate member of the Mopo Trio, Ricky-Tick Big Band and Superposition, but above all of the extraordinary solo project “Juniper” and quartet with Olavi Louhivuori, Tuomo Prättälä, and Mikael Saastamoinen, Linda Fredriksson has developed a unique style that spans all genres and has led to her being one of the most interesting musicians on the European scene. This earned her a nomination for the Rising Star list of the leading US jazz magazine Down Beat for four consecutive years. Baritone and alto saxophone are the main instruments, but bass clarinet, guitar, piano and flute are also part of the program. She also works with drum programming, synthesizers and electronics.
