Schloss Leopoldskron

Schloss Leopoldskron

A rare opportunity to enjoy an intimate lakeside concert from the terrace of historic Schloss Leopoldskron with its beautiful gardens and scenic mountain views.

Schloss Leopoldskron is owned and operated by Salzburg Global Seminar, a non-profit founded in 1947 with a mission to challenge current and future leaders to shape a better world. Originally built in 1736 as a palace for Prince Archbishop Leopold von Firmian, Schloss Leopoldskron was later home to renowned theater director and Salzburg Festival co-founder, Max Reinhardt, from 1918 to 1938.

Today, and for more than 75 years, this "Schloss with a mission" has been a place of dialogue, debate, reconciliation, refuge, and openness. The programs run by Salzburg Global Seminar at Schloss Leopoldskron have been attended by over 40,000 participants from all over the globe, including Paul Rucker - the featured artist for this Jazz&TheCity event. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy an intimate lakeside concert from the terrace of historic Schloss Leopoldskron with its beautiful gardens and scenic mountain views.
