For kids: Pepe & Speedy

Christoph Pepe Auer already proved that it’s possible to make music with the zipping sound of a saxophone bag at the start of the kid’s jazz programme “Pepe & Speedy”. This formed the start of an enjoyable and often surprising journey involving the guitar, saxophone and “Pepephon” – a plastic saxophone invented by Auer which can be freely assembled and expanded. The programme conceived by Lilian Genn and orchestrated by Sigrid Reisenberger gradually reaches a crescendo as it delves deep into the sounds, rhythms and melodies of jazz, pop, folk and classic. This is no child-friendly, “softly softly” exercise in music but, instead, a true musical experience full of humour with real musical content which is fascinating for young and old alike.
