Salzburger Amateurtheaterverband

140 ensembles from amateur, school and children's theatres are supported in the city and province of Salzburg. More than 3500 performers lure about 300,000 people into the theatrical performances of various genres every year.

Networking, advanced training, national and international events, advice for members and publication of the Monatsblatt Rampenlicht are among the central tasks of the SAV. Since 2011, the SAV has been operating the theatre library in the KunstQuartier as a communication centre for theatre professionals. Through expert advice, amateur theatres are supported in finding suitable plays for their stages.
