Raiffeisen. The power of responsibility

For more than 125 years, Salzburg's Raiffeisen banks have been inextricably linked to the country and its people. With a total of 119 banking outlets in the 119 Salzburg municipalities, Raiffeisen consciously assumes responsibility for its home country. 

But the largest and most powerful banking group in the country is also known for the fact that every single Raiffeisen bank has always been much more than just a bank. The idea of cooperative development is deeply anchored in the entire Raiffeisen Banking Group, and this is how we were 125 years ago, when the first Raiffeisen banks were founded in the country. Its strong roots are also reflected in the fact that the Salzburg Raiffeisen banks are owned by their members, around 66,000 Salzburg residents.

Raiffeisen has maintained its local roots for good reason to this day: It is important not to lose contact with people even in the age of digitalisation. Personal contact is indispensable.
