Textilkunst Galerie Aichhorn

Located in the heart of the city of Salzburg, the textile art gallery is exclusively dedicated to textile art. Since 2005, the seasonal gallery has been presenting exhibits by national and international textile artists as well as selected textiles from non-European cultures. The gallery attaches great importance to considering different artistic positions - from classical tapestry to object art to textile installations. In the 2019 exhibition year, an accent will also be placed on the scientific examination of textiles, colour and light. In addition to its exhibition activities, the gallery also hosts workshops, lectures, discussions with artists, concerts and readings.
