Calligraphy Workshop
This workshop introduces participants to Chinese calligraphy.
Calligraphy has a very high value as an art form in East Asia. Both body and mind are touched by this art. In different styles, not only the aesthetics are important, but the personality and feelings of the artist are expressed. Basic knowledge of Chinese writing as well as how to use traditional brushes will be taught by painter Linhong Zhao.
Presenter: Linhong Zhao, painter, painting and calligraphy teacher.
Dates for beginners: Tuesday, 14th November and 28th November 2023, 5:30 - 7 pm
The workshop dates do not build on each other and can therefore be attended individually.

Dates for intermediate: Tuesday, 12th December 2023, 5:30 - 7 pm
Venue: Afro-Asian Institute, study room (2nd floor)
Participation fee: 15 Euro/10 Euro for students (incl. material costs) per date
