Lions Club - Kirtag printing

For the 33rd time already, the works hut of the former Huttegger printing works (1893-2015) presents the highest level of craftsmanship in the arts of paper making and book printing. At the same time, collectors will have the opportunity to purchase a very special souvenir again this year. The print image was designed after a pencil drawing by the Grödig-based artist Prof. Franz Wolf. The Kirtag-design is printed on freshly handmade paper of the master craftsmen Hans Frank and Thomas Lindner using a 159 years old Boston platen - the printing machine for the establishment of the company. The sheets are printed by the initiator of the handicraft campaign and Kommerzialrat Günther Uitz (great-grandson of the printery founder Josef Huttegger) and his son Thomas Uitz. The Kirtagsdruck has been under the patronage of the LIONS CLUB SALZBURG-HELLBRUNN for many years and supports charity: this year the "CLOWNDOCTORS SALZBURG" will be supported, celebrating their 25th anniversary. In the course of the Kirtag years, a total of over 112,000 euros was raised through handmade printing donations.
