After receiving critical acclaim for their debut album Panamor (2020), the band gained further recognition with Caosmosi (2024), cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting projects in Italy’s contemporary underground scene. On their latest album Caosmosi, the band had the honor of collaborating with Joshua Idehen on “Look at Us”—an energetic, groove-driven, psychedelic prayer. Addict Ameba has one central goal: to bring people together through music without borders. A return to Pangaea.

Addict Ameba is a nine-piece ensemble whose sound lies somewhere between Afrobeat soundscapes, Latin American psychedelic rock journeys, and Ethiopian jazz excursions. Founded in Milan ten years ago, the band first got the city dancing, then the entire country, performing at major festivals such as MI AMI and Jazz:Re before expanding internationally with shows in Tunisia (Hammamet) and the Netherlands (ITGWO). Over the years, more than 20 musicians have been part of the collective, each bringing their own influences—from Afrobeat to free jazz, psychedelia to punk—and helping shape an ever-evolving musical identity.
