On stage, daoud and his band break the rules with a blend of understated lyricism and explosive power. Since the release of the critically acclaimed GOOD BOY in 2024, they have played a string of sold-out shows and standout performances, from Ronnie Scott’s in London to the Montreux Jazz Festival, with a stop in Marciac along the way. At the same time, daoud composes and produces for other artists, never abandoning his personal approach, which is becoming increasingly free and uncompromising.

The French-Moroccan trumpeter and composer embraces challenging established conventions and ignoring the traditional rules of jazz. Instead, he creates a completely independent and uncompromising sonic force field, bringing together jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and elements of electronic music. His work is defined by a constant tension between playfulness and seriousness, chaos and tenderness, irony and sincerity.
