Las Sara Fontan’s music is open source: they collaborate with other artists and constantly rework their own creations, opening them up to collective and interdisciplinary experimentation. A fearless blend of influences—as diverse as classical music, jazz, hardcore punk, noise, IDM, and electroacoustic sound—fuels the development of their own musical language. At the heart of their approach is a constant questioning of musical conventions: How should a song be structured? How should a live performance be conceived? How can one navigate a music industry shaped by individualism and the inertia of standardization? During the first five years of their career, they deliberately avoided recording albums—a militant decision to resist conventional production cycles. All the better, then, that they are even more brilliant live!
