Romed Hopfgartner’s Jazz-Pop-Werkstatt: a vibrant mix of music students from the Innsbruck Department of the University Mozarteum Salzburg. Every year, participants in this course set themselves the goal of writing their own songs and arranging them to suit the ensemble—and this year is no exception. The 17 musicians composed songs in a wide range of styles, from pop and soul to funk, tailor-made for a lineup as diverse as the students themselves.
