Stefano D'Alessio - "Longevity of Light Bulbs" (IT)

The Italian-born artist, a composer for new media, works in Vienna. His work, which focuses primarily on interactive performances / installations, combines various media. Digitization offers D'Alessio not only the technological background, but also the content: for the analysis of coding and decoding processes as well as discovering the physical in the digital. He questions the transience of things, explores boundaries between machine and body and is interested in artificial intelligence. He composed electronic and electro-acoustic music and has often collaborated with dance and theater directors.
